Homework club is held 3.30 pm \u2013 4.00 pm Monday to Thursday in the Bungalow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At homework club, we encourage students to take pride in their work, and to organize themselves by learning how to prioritise homework, to ensure that it is handed in on time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We can support students in a variety of ways including help with homework, learning spellings, revision for tests or exams, improving Maths and English skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:15% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"318\" src=\"https:\/\/website.droitwichspahigh.worcs.sch.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/clubs.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4440 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/website.droitwichspahigh.worcs.sch.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/clubs.png 800w, https:\/\/website.droitwichspahigh.worcs.sch.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/clubs-300x119.png 300w, https:\/\/website.droitwichspahigh.worcs.sch.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/clubs-768x305.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Student Clubs<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>SEND provide Before School, Break and Lunchtime Clubs on a daily basis for our more vulnerable students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the morning free toast is provided and during all of the clubs the students have access to the computer facilities and games which encourage interaction and social skills with students and the Learning Support Assistants. The Clubs are an extremely friendly, caring and positive environment.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:15% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"240\" height=\"268\" src=\"https:\/\/website.droitwichspahigh.worcs.sch.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/nurture.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2019 size-full\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nurture Group at The Centre<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The aim of this intervention is to be proactive in supporting a small group of students who may find the initial&nbsp;period of transition a little overwhelming.&nbsp; It also&nbsp;provides support for students from&nbsp;other year groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It runs daily\u00a0from 8.00 am at The Centre<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The students who attend are welcoming and supportive &#8211; reassuring new students into the school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It provides a secure environment in which students have the opportunity to make new friends &#8211; discuss any worries or concerns, meaning that we can be proactive in supporting them to resolve these.&nbsp;&nbsp;Students&nbsp;can&nbsp;access computers enabling them to ensure that they are up to date with work.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also provide toast, which is welcomed by most students attending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile is-vertically-aligned-top\" style=\"grid-template-columns:15% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"362\" height=\"363\" src=\"https:\/\/website.droitwichspahigh.worcs.sch.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/centre-logo.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2017 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/website.droitwichspahigh.worcs.sch.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/centre-logo.png 362w, https:\/\/website.droitwichspahigh.worcs.sch.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/centre-logo-300x301.png 300w, https:\/\/website.droitwichspahigh.worcs.sch.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/centre-logo-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/website.droitwichspahigh.worcs.sch.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/centre-logo-100x100.png 100w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 362px) 100vw, 362px\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Centre Break and Lunch Time Clubs<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The Centre offers a space where students can enjoy activities with peers that they might not have access to at home.  This includes fitness and leisure equipment as well as some computer games.
