About D’Oliveira House

D’Oliveira House is named after Basil D’Oliveira, who spent the early part of his life in South Africa before
moving to England and settling in Worcester. As a
cricketer he was not only highly successful when he played for the county and for England, he also played a significant part in bringing about peaceful change in South Africa.

Head of House

Mr Ward teaches German all the way to A Level. He loves sport, particularly football, rugby and running. Mr Ward is on the Senior Leadership Team and is one of the school’s three Designated Safeguarding Leads.
